You can choose the person who will have authority over your child, and not leave that to a court. If something happens, your child sleeps in their own bed that night and goes to their own school the next morning. The disaster simply does not happen.
What I Said
From my September 10 Parents Edition workshop at the Cambria Hotel in Calabasas, lightly edited for readability.
You can choose the person who will have the authority over your child, and you will not let the court decide that.
God forbid something happens, in case of a life event, your child will sleep in their own beds. They will continue going to their own schools. They will not have the disaster happening.
